Weill Cornell Fellowship

An unprecedented Opportunity for furthering Minimally Invasive Techniques

This position of the Minimally Invasive Neurosurgery Program at Weill Cornell Medical Center was borne out of the observation that many neurosurgeons in training are seeking in depth exposure to minimally invasive techniques.

Mark M. Souweidane, MD

The major objective is to advance the field, improve safety, and further define the surgical indications of intraventricular and skull base endoscopic neurosurgery. Investigative efforts will be distributed through published peer-reviewed works for the benefit of neurosurgeons world-wide. This opportunity will no doubt help to further the field minimally invasive and endoscopic neurosurgery on both a national and international front.

Theodore H. Schwartz, MD

Participants will have the opportunity to observe all work in all clinical arenas (operating room, patient clinics, hospital wards, etc.), participate in clinical research projects (chart reviews, radiographic correlation, etc.), and be involved in technology development in the Department of Neurological Surgery Skull Base laboratory.
