San Diego. On July 9th, 2012 B. Braun was awarded the silver LACP Vision Award 2011 in the category of "Annual Report / Health Care". The B. Braun annual report entitled "Sharing Expertise. Promoting Partnership." prevailed this year over a field of renowned international competitors. 5,500 companies across various industries from more than 24 countries competed for the League of American Communications Professionals (LACP) award. This was the highest number of submissions since the inauguration of the competition in 2001.
The annual reports were evaluated on the basis of numerous criteria, such as initial visual impression, creativity of design and layout, as well as the transparency and preparation of the financial information. The B. Braun company received 97 out of a possible 100 points, and impressed the judges above all with the clarity of its message and the transparent access it afforded to the in-house financial information.
With its Vision Award, the LAPC recognizes high quality and excellent performance in the field of financial communication with an interested public. The LPCA competition for the best annual report is the world’s largest competition of its kind.
