Company entitled to call itself "Star of the Czech Economy".
Prague/Czech Republic. The Czech subsidiary of B. Braun Melsungen AG, B. Braun Medical, was recently distinguished by Coface Intercredit as the most dynamic company in the Czech Republic. Coface Intercredit had previously analyzed 60,000 Czech companies from all fields of the economy together with leading business journals. Among the companies, B. Braun Medical won first place both in the district of the capital of Prague as well as in the republic overall and may now use the title "Star of the Czech Economy".
The evaluation was based solely on objective criteria such as dynamism and the results of the companies in the three years from 2002 to 2004, including individual criteria such as growth in sales, liquidity, ROE (return on common equity) and ROA (return on assets). Of the 60,000 companies examined overall, 9,000 fulfilled the qualifying criteria (sales of more than one million euros, positive result).
