Askina® Sports Festival
In association with Askina®, B. Braun dressing materials brand,
B. Braun Melsungen AG has been a sponsor to the Askina Sports Festival, a major sporting event of international repute, every year since 1998.

Joachim Krause, Managing Director of B. Braun Petzold GmbH, explains the history behind this involvement: "On the one hand, we have been able to steadily increase brand awareness of Askina® as a result of the television coverage, which now extends Europe-wide, while on the other, as a company from the region, we hope our involvement motivates other companies to also support sport."

German Hospital Soccer Championships
In the German Hospital Soccer Championships, B. Braun has been hosting a major sports event for our customers for 20 years now. Some two thousand participants - all employees of German hospitals - compete every May in their "hospital teams" for the title of German Hospital Champions. The winner goes on to represent Germany in the European competition,"Eurospital".

Committed to its community, B. Braun also sponsors sports clubs in North Hesse such as, the men's handball team of MSG Melsungen and the women's handball team of SG Kirchhof.
