Whose daily challenges are taken into consideration?
OrthoScan is a dedicated service of B. Braun and Aesculap based on the expertise and experience in implants, anesthesia, analgesia and instruments. With focus on the below shown five OrthoScan modules, experts analyze the individual protocols along the treatment process for Total Hip and Knee Arthroplasty in one-site attendance.
Target is to deliver recommendations on evidence based improvement potentials related to qualitative and economical benefits.
OrthoScan is an interdisciplinary consulting solution and affects the work of different disciplines inside the hospital. During a kick-off presentation the available OrthoScan modules will be presented and discussed with the different persons involved.
The team of B. Braun consultants analyze the processes in the chosen modules on-site in two days. Tools for the analysis are observation of the process chain, interviews with hospital staff, counting and analyzing methods as well as cost-benefit analysis. The OrthoScan focuses on primary Total Hip and Knee Replacements.
