Since 1951, we have advanced progress in infusion therapy. In 1951, we introduced the world’s first syringe pump, the Perfusor®. In 1971, the Infusomat® followed as the first volumetric pump – two milestones that transformed infusion therapy. 1951 Syringe Pump  

Dr. Hess invents and markets the world's first infusion pump. Its standard infusion rate is 1 ml/min. The new pump is designed to administer vasodilating drugs.

1971 Infusomat®

With the launch of the Infusomat® I, B. Braun gives the world its first large-volume infusion device. Driven by a roller pump, the Infusomat® I can deliver infinitely variable volumes from 7 to 1,000 ml.

2004 B. Braun Space® 

With its new Infusomat® Space and Perfusor® Space, B. Braun sets new standards in automated infusion technology, design, safety engineering and data communication.

2018 compactplus 

Easy to use and robust, compactplus flexibly addresses the core requirements of modern infusion therapy – bringing together the latest technological advances with unmatched economic value.

2021 Spaceplus
